Equalizer - Mercedes Benz

worldwide

The "Equalizer" creates spatial distinction through the use of acoustics. Mercedes counters the battle of disruption, clashing logos and colors typical of motor shows with a presence that absorbs the surrounding white noise. Visitors to the stand are transported to a separate world through the absence of sound. A starry sky with more than 1500 acoustically absorbent foam extrusions above, and a field of street reflectors below are the core elements of the project. The varying heights of the foam extrusions generate a ceiling topography which frames the three highlights presented by Mercedes.
