In designing a start-up incubator, we faced the challenge of creating an iconographic presence demanded by the client while at the same time negotiating the dynamic haziness of continuously changing forms and organizations of work. Our approach links structural openness and iconographic determinism by stacking and rotating two densely programmed blocks of individual offices and meeting rooms per floor. The void in between them houses open co-working areas of varying scale and atmosphere. The floor to floor rotation of the blocks and platforms creates a strong sculptural presence of the void.
